Play Date, 2025

All over so called Australia

About

Pop duo Turtle and Sugar Rush bring you the ultimate dance and play party; where you and your little ones can boogie down together. In this colourful adventure through stories of identity, body positivity and the power of imagination, Turtle and Sugar Rush lead the ultimate dance party for children and their ‘chosen’ families.

Featuring their original pop bangers Different, Frown to Crown, Fruit Time and the instant classic My Chosen Family, this daytime disco overflows with high energy and joy.

Perfect for children aged two to seven, Play Date encourages singing and dancing like no-one’s watching, and the chance for children, their Carers and accompanying Adults to learn and enjoy Auslan inclusive dance moves.

It’s guaranteed to give you a rush and encourage you to come out of your shell.

But wait, there’s more…

Arrive early for a special pre-party workshop starting one hour before the show, dive into a treasure trove of craft fun and create a rainbow crown, fruit salad headpiece, shiny gold crown, or your very own Play Date colouring-in map.

This show is an interactive, immersive dance experience, designed to get everyone moving, grooving, and fully involved in the fun from start to finish!
