ATQM have been awarded the 2021 Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award, alongside a cohort of artists, collectives and facilitators, praised for their creative leadership, generosity and contribution to the community. 

Gertrude and Smith Streets will be transformed into an all-day, jam-packed, block party to celebrate LGBTIQ+ communities. Performances from Tristan Meecham & Bec Reid, Tama Tatu, House of Devine, L2R dancers and Miss Katalyna.

This year’s family-friendly program features a mix of dance, circus, roving performers, music and a mini rave for the kids. All The Queens Men perform with Tama Tatu, L2R and Miss Katalyna.

The Coming Back Out Ball received the 2018 VicHealth Award – Improving Health Through Arts. The second year in a row ATQM has received this award!

All The Queens Men are honoured to be shortlisted for the 2018 International Prize for Live Art, alongside three outstanding artists from across the globe – Nic Green, Jeanne Van Heeswijk and Sonya Lindfors.

ATQM received the Community Collaboration Award for our Body of Work (Fun Run, Congress and The Coming Back Out Ball) at the 2018 Green Room Awards.

ATQM are nominated in Contemporary and Experimental Performance for the following awards:

In homage to Pheidippides, Tristan Meecham will run a gruelling 42.2kms on a treadmill, live on stage, supported by massive visual effects, a booming soundtrack, and hundreds of performers and athletes from the Gold Coast community.

Artist Tristan Meecham runs 42.2 kilometres on a treadmill while hundreds of community members and athletes perform centre stage. After touring the world, this presentation is extra special as we return to where it all began.

Tristan is returning as guest provocateur at Generate GC, a creative platform for Gold Coast artists.

Hosted and produced by Tristan Meecham, this year’s event had it all: death drops, lip-syncs, jaw-dropping performances, dazzling gowns and over 500 screaming audience members.

A panel discussion around issues faced by LGBTIQ+ older people with Dr Catherine Barrett (Director, Celebrate Ageing), Lizzi Craig (Client Care and Support Officer, Victorian Aids Council), Ro Allen (Commissioner for Gender and Sexuality, Victorian Government), Pauline Crameri (Coordinator, Val’s Café), David Morrison (Member, Vintage Men) and Joe Rae Latham (Intersex and Trans Ageing Coordinator, Val’s Café). 

Bec Reid with Ian Pidd and Kate McDonald (Everybody NOW!) premiered their joyous celebration of social dance at the Bleach Festival. Tristan Meecham joined as host for the second presentation at Woodford Folk Festival.

Tristan Meecham with Nick Roux and Roger Monk commenced development at this experimental hothouse for interdisciplinary art. Part performance, part live art, part verbatim theatre, Truth or Dare challenges our notion of identity, performance, authenticity and representation.

Tristan Meecham with Yvette Turnball gathered community activists, local storytellers and everyday experts each who inspired, engaged and reframed our environmental footprints and futures.

Tristan Meecham performed as part of David Pledger;’s cross-sector think tank. Three days of thought and action with keynote speakers from art, science, technology, activism and sport backgrounds.

Bec Reid directed, produced and choreographed the biggest performance event ever seen in Katherine, Northern Territory.

This international presentation is our biggest to date. Fun Run Ansan, with a cast of 700 community performers, seen by 40,000 people!
